Banker, Nurse, Detective, Lawyer by Julian Opie is a playful piece located next to The Kotoden Takamatsu Chikko Station and Takamatsu Castle. It isn’t very big but the 4 pieces to this artwork just asks you to stop and take a quick look.

The Banker, Nurse, Detective, Lawyer is exactly what it says. You have 4 people walking along the grass and their occupations are banker, nurse, detective, and a lawyer. They are all created out of local limestone in 2015 and they also come in different colours. The artwork is fun to play with but unfortunately I was all alone so I couldn’t take fun photos with it.

If you do have a chance to visit Takamatsu, this artwork is pretty easy to see and you can have a little fun with it. I found the pieces to be a little too spread out to take photos with them but it also adds to the general look from afar. It can be difficult to photograph together without crossing the street but it is a welcome addition to the Triennale and I look forward to seeing it again.
