Kog Bar is a small bar that is linked with Hotel Cycle and the entire Onomichi U2 complex. The bar is really small but really nice. I went there pretty late at night, just before they closed. They have a lot of nice drinks but it is pretty standard for an upscale looking bar.

When you go there, it is a little confusing as to where to go. The central bar area is pretty simple to navigate and you can sit pretty much anywhere. The bartender who was there seemed to be pretty experienced but the drinks seemed a little overpriced. There is also an outdoor area that is really nice.

Overall, the bar is good for the free drink from staying at Hotel Cycle. I probably wouldn’t have gone there if I had no free drink. The prices are not particularly cheap and I found buying craft beer at Lawson’s down the street to be both economical and better tasting. The service there was nice though and the bartender was friendly enough, even though it was the end of his shift. If there is nothing else happening, there is no harm in going to the Kog Bar for a drink or two, especially if you are a little worried about going to other places.
